Delta LDC conducted a three-part financial literacy webinar series entitled "Money Manners: Making $ense out of ¢ents". Led by volunteer financial counselors, Richard and Betty Shepherd, the webinar series encouraged participants to begin the slow process of reviewing their finances and making significant changes to improve and manage their financial activities.

OCTOBER: Protect What You’ve Built!
You work hard for your money—make sure it’s protected. Insurance isn’t exciting, but it’s essential. Review your coverage for health, life, auto, home, and even disability. One unexpected event could wipe out years of progress.
Also, check your beneficiaries and consider basic estate planning tools like a will or power of attorney. Protection may not build wealth, but it absolutely preserves it.
